Donations to Jazz Forum Arts
We welcome all contributions to Jazz Forum Arts to support our general programming – currently the free summer concert series and the Jazz Forum club offerings. Whether you can participate in our Charter Donor Campaign or make a more modest contribution, we are grateful that you are supporting our work to advance the awareness and experience of jazz in Westchester and the New York metropolitan area.
The Jazz Forum club is a program of Jazz Forum Arts, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts presenting organization. All contributions to either entity are tax deductible. If you would like additional information, please email Ellen Prior, Associate Director at email@example.com or call (914)-631-1000
Request for 2017 Year-End Contributions
Dear Jazz Forum Arts Friends,
The year 2017 was one for the books - at least for lovers of live Jazz and Brazilian music in the Greater New York area. Jazz Forum Arts outdid itself!
It was marked by the June 9th opening of the Jazz Forum, the Tarrytown, NY-based club that presented headliners such as Roy Hargrove, Catherine Russell, Paquito D'Rivera and Bill Charlap. On Sundays, club patrons enjoyed Brazilian music by premier artists of the genre. Jazz Forum Arts also presented 34 free outdoor summer concerts along the Hudson River, celebrating 32 years of diverse live music experiences.
As 2017 comes to a close, we are asking you to make a year-end contribution to Jazz Forum Arts, the non-profit 501(c)3 arts presenting organization that produces these year-round live music programs. Our free concerts and affordably-priced live music at the Jazz Forum fulfill our mission - to present top-quality events to the public at little or no cost, while enhancing the appreciation of Jazz, America's pre-eminent indigenous musical arts form.
With your financial support, we will build upon this year's success and keep Jazz alive and accessible to all.
Every week club fans leave comments such as "On the way to becoming a local (no, regional) treasure!", "Thank you for bringing jazz to Westchester.", "Excellent music. Love the venue. Love the ambiance." and "1st time - IN LOVE! GREAT experience."
And just last week, a Jazz Forum patron posted this on Google My Business: “Wonderful new addition to the New York area Jazz scene. Great sound, good sightlines, world-class talent.” Can’t really beat that!
As the only dedicated Jazz club in Westchester and now the go-to place for Greater New York Jazz enthusiasts who previously frequented NYC clubs, the Jazz Forum has fulfilled a need for top-quality live music and broadened the audience for Jazz and Brazilian music.
Looking ahead to 2018, the Jazz Forum will present another brilliant year of Jazz headliners and premier Brazilian music, along with monthly jam sessions and plans for Sunday night shows of other beloved Jazz artists. The club will welcome new patrons and “regulars,” spreading joy and peace through the international language of music. In addition, Jazz Forum Arts will present another year of diverse and exciting music in free outdoor summer concerts, including the 19th annual Dobbs Ferry Summer Music Series and the 9th season at Lyndhurst.
Please make a year-end contribution to Jazz Forum Arts. We depend on your generosity to sustain the club and summer programs. Whatever you give, your donation will be greatly appreciated. Make your gift at jazzforumarts.org/support or mail your check to Jazz Forum Arts at the address below.
Thank you. We look forward to seeing you soon and are truly grateful for your support.
