Jazz Forum Arts' 40th Anniversary Signature Event

We are thrilled to present the brilliant saxophonist Joshua Redman and his quartet to perform at the Jazz Forum, the crowning event of Jazz Forum Arts’ 40th Anniversary year!

Chapter 1
1985-1997 - Riverside Park Arts Festival & RP Summer Music Series
This was the first series presented by Jazz Forum Arts, beginning in 1985 and running for 13 consecutive summers.
The free concerts at the West 79th Street Rotunda were attended by upwards of 1,500 people per event.
Chapter 2
1992-2013 - Jazz at the Music Hall, Tarrytown
Jazz Forum Arts’ longest running ticketed concert series ran some 22 years.
We presented almost 150 concerts at Tarrytown Music Hall featuring nearly every major artist still performing in that era.
Chapter 3
1996-2015 - Jazz Concerts in NYC
Major highlights of Jazz Forum Arts presentations in New York City over a near twenty year span included a long-running concert series at The Town Hall and then a decade-long run of concerts at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Chapter 4
1997-2010 - Jazz Concerts in Metro NY
After beginning the successful Jazz at the Music Hall concert series in Tarrytown, Jazz Forum Arts expanded its offerings to include presentations at the Paramount, Peekskill, SUNY Purchase, John Harms Center in Englewood, NJ and the Palace Theater in Stamford, CT in addition to other venues.
Chapter 5
1996-2009 - Metro NY Outdoor Summer Concerts
Building on our initial success with the Riverside Park Arts Festival in New York City, Jazz Forum Arts brought our signature free outdoor summer concerts North, presenting hundreds of free concerts in Westchester, Rockland and Fairfield Counties.
Chapter 6
2000-PRESENT - Free Summer Concert Series in Westchester
This is the 25th anniversary of Jazz Forum Arts free summer concerts in Westchester County.
We have presented almost a thousand free concerts in Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown, Valhalla, White Plains, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, Ossining and Peekskill over that quarter-century.
Chapter 7
2001-2003 - Berkshire Jazz Festival, Butternut, Great Barrington, MA
Probably our most ambitious undertaking in our forty year history was the three editions of the Berkshire Jazz Festival, 2001-03.
We rented Butternut Ski Basin in Great Barrington, Massachusetts to present emerging and established artists on two stages, children’s and educational events, as well as arts and crafts and food vendors.

2017-PRESENT - The Jazz Forum Club

Our most recent venture is our celebrated Jazz Forum club venue in Tarrytown, opening in 2017 and presenting over three hundred sets of music annually.
We also present a rotating gallery of contemporary art, jam sessions, early childhood education and student ensembles.
