Dear Friends of Jazz Forum Arts,

We are terribly sad to announce that, due to the potential risk of spreading COVID-19 at outdoor gatherings, we will not present our free outdoor concerts this summer. This would have been our 35th consecutive year of free outdoor performances and we are so sorry that the pandemic is preventing us from offering these beloved concerts to all of you. We will return next year!

To add to the bad news, New York State officials have told us that we cannot reopen the Jazz Forum as a club at this time. Jazz Forum Arts is 100% committed to the safety and health of our patrons, staff and the performing musicians and are exploring safe options for presenting live music. No matter what, we are looking forward to reopening the Jazz Forum as soon as we are granted permission from the State.

We know from your emails, calls and comments that both the summer concerts and the club have become so important for your well-being. We will keep you posted as we have news. Meanwhile as you have probably noticed, we are presenting a number of exciting online programs. We hope you are enjoying our weekly Jazz Forum @ Home E-Newsletters, weekly Facebook Livestream shows and monthly Jitterbugs jazz classes for little kids and caregivers/parents.

If you can spare an initial or repeat donation to our Jazz Together campaign, we would be so grateful. This support will allow us to stay afloat now and prepare Jazz Forum Arts for the future.

Please wear masks and keep socially distanced!

With love and best wishes for your health and safety,
Mark and Ellen
