Jazz at Henry Gourdine Park, Ossining
Four free Monday evenings • No tickets needed
Located on the shores of the Hudson River in Ossining, NY, this free concert series takes place on alternate Monday evenings in July and August.
Bands perform on the open-air plaza, next to the large arch sculpture, adjacent to the ferry which transports folks to Haverstraw, NY on the western side of the Hudson.

July 10: Teri Roiger & Sharp 5
Jazz critic Stanley Crouch called Teri Roiger “the real thing,” a remarkable vocalist whose phrasing, timbre, swing and soulfulness reveal the essence of everything she sings.
While she’s recorded tributes to legends like Billie Holiday and Abbey Lincoln, NEA Jazz Master drummer Jack DeJohnette observed Teri has “her own uniqueness.”

July 24: Ornettiquette feat. Chris Pasin & Jeff Lederer
Trumpeter Chris Pasin, saxophonist Jeff Lederer and their band Ornettiquette pay tribute to saxophonist Ornette Coleman and his long-time sonic partner, trumpeter Don Cherry in this performance.
Pasin’s 2018 debut Ornettiquette album earned widespread praise in jazz circles (including a four-star review from AllAboutJazz.com) for expanding and personalizing Coleman’s music.

August 7: Norbert & Karen Stachel & LehCats
LehCats are highly accomplished musicians who define the terms artistry, teamwork and chemistry, led by the husband-wife team of Norbert and Karen Stachel.
They perform original artistic and tasteful compositions that combine elements of modern jazz, funk, R&B, Middle Eastern, Afro/Latin, and rock creating a potpourri of creative sound.

August 21: Sherma Andrews!
A graduate and faculty member of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Sherma has shared the stage with the likes of Branford Marsalis, among many others.
Her perfect pitch, her vast repertoire and ability to mesmerize the audience have earned high praise from superstar singers Valerie Simpson and Michael McDonald.
