We Reopening, But We Need Your Help!
First off, thank you! Without you, our loyal audience, we couldn’t have kept Jazz Forum Arts alive through the 400+ days of the pandemic. We were able to present over 60 online jazz performances since our last in-person show at the Jazz Forum on March 8, 2020. Again, thank you!
Because of you, we are thrilled to announce that the Jazz Forum will reopen Friday, May 28th! As Count Basie said, “One more once…” In that spirit, we need you once again to get us up and running.
What have YOU made possible over the past year?
- 50 Free-of-Charge Facebook Live Streams – 38 hours of live Jazz for over 167,000 worldwide viewers;
- Six Premium Live Streams from the club featuring such Jazz icons as Bill Charlap and Kenny Barron; and
- 15 Online Jitterbugs: Jazz For Kids Classes — recognized with the 2021 ArtsWestchester Arts Award for Education.
Through these programs, we have been able to keep you engaged and connected to Jazz Forum Arts and your love of the music. After the past year of innumerable challenges, we are way past ready to restart!
If you can help, please consider making a contribution while we put all our time and effort into reopening the club: hiring and training staff, establishing safety protocols, upgrading ventilation, booking the best artists, hanging a new art exhibit, and setting the stage for our beloved audience.
Thank you for whatever you can contribute and for coming back as soon as you can!
